//SKC: Chapter 1--Aside from MySpace...//

//Alright folks, I don't usually do blogging outside of MySpace, but since there's bound to be more than one ocassion, I'll do a copy-and-paste thingie. However [comma] since this is a new environment, I better get everyone introduced and myself intro'd.

My name's Jennifer, codename Sunshine, and sometimes nicknamed Sunny.

The following 411 is from my MySpace profile. Pay attention, 'cause you WILL need this if you want to follow along.

+Nicknames/Sunshine, Sunny, StarKnight [or StarKnight Captain], Jenn, Jenny, Reckoning [new nickname I gave myself--based on a line from a Bloc Party song].

+Main power [if anything else]/Love, sacrifice, and prayer.
+Favorite sports: Soccer and volleyball.
+Favorite stuff never to leave the house without/Cell phone, ChapStick, lip gloss, car keys, glasses [I'm nearsighted and can't drive without 'em], work cap and nametag [if I have to work], iPod [or c.d. player, or both!], and up to 3 bracelets and about 5 or 6 necklaces--depending on what's going on or where I'm going or both.

On the drama of that d*mn thorn in my side that is love: Love is my friend, love is my enemy, love is my strength, love is my weakness. My heart is large enough to fit everyone I know and love. My heart is also small enough to consume hatred... though that's a rarity.

On my being a witness [and I don't mean Jehova's Witness, folks!]: Coming to terms with life as we all know it is anything but easy. The Lord is my Strength and Song, but it's not like I carry a Bible everywhere I go or go preaching until my dying day. My witness, my testimony, is my faith and how I'm actually able to stay alive for my Lord--I went through depression and almost killed myself twice. I have a few scars to show the pain too.

So long live life's chaos... or whimsey... or whatever we all call this these days. I suppose life's a bit sweeter when it's not ordinary, right? ...maybe I should just stop rambling... heh...

Now, what I usually do in my MySpace blog is, I have nowadays a Chapter # and name of Chapter for the title, and the first thing I usually post for the day is the Songs of the Day, which consists of, usually, two songs: one from Bloc Party [my f-a-v-o-r-i-t-e rock band], and one from a band or someone non-Bloc Party. Then I get to what's on my mind, which is usually the chaos of the day, and I add my view to it. At the end I post the moral of the story, and close with a benediction of sorts.

Now since this is the introduction and all, I might as well get everyone in the know about the cast of characters, usually with codenames:

+Pouncer [or Randall]: my best friend and ex-fiancee. He's one of a kind. I thank God for him!
+Revolver [Ozzie]: one of my recently-met friends. He's a tattoo artist apprentice, and yes. He can draw!!
+Kaleidoscope [Donny]: lead singer of my favorite local rock band Evongale. One of my new friends too. [I kinda have a crush on both him and Revolver. *blushes in embarrassment*]
+Scion [Fritz]: one of my friends, and a former enemy. He liked me for a very long time now...

In fact, so that everyone gets to know me a bit better, this blog's Chapter 2 is going to be about silly Miss Me, in the form of surveys and whatnot that I've taken in the past, and that I'm updating for the here and now.
